We are staying on a beautiful field, surrounded by woods, and with some lakes in walking distance. There, we set up our tents in allocated areas.

We will set up areas where people will gather for teachings, practising, eating and sharing: This could be in the Medicine Wheel, around the People’s fire, under the People’s tent or in the Teepee. The venue also provides us with some shared toilets/showers facilities.

Together we build the camp from the ground and, collectively, we care for leaving the space as we received it, leaving only beauty behind us.

Practicalities around camping

The only indoor facility are the shared showers / toilets. Make sure you bring all you need for outdoor life, camping in an open grass field, in all the weather conditions of the Danish Summer (see ‘What to bring’ and ‘About Denmark’ for more information).

Laundry

The venue has no special facilities for laundry and we all need to be mindful in our use and sharing of warm water. We therefore encourage you to bring enough clothes for you to wear without needing to do any extra laundry.

Showers

The venue provides shared toilet and shower facilities. The showers are paid with shower tokens which can be purchased at the Sundance camp. The price is 10,- Danish Kroner, which last for 4 minutes. The showers have on/off buttons, so one token can go a long way…

Food

Our main focus of being together is sending our prayers to Life, thus we will have simple nourishing meals prepared with love by our own hands in the outdoor kitchen tent. We recommend that you keep that awareness in mind in the weeks before coming, and simplify your diet a little if needed, especially with the intake of caffeine and sugar.

If you have any special dietary needs, make sure to make this known on your registration form, so our kitchen team can include this in the designing of the menu.
